Caliber may be a fit. A clinician will confirm during your assessment.

BMI is one input — not a diagnosis. It doesn't account for muscle mass, body composition, or context. A US-licensed clinician determines eligibility based on your full health history during the assessment. Compounded medication. Not FDA-approved.

Questions, answered

The questions we get asked most.

Is this the same as Ozempic?
Same active molecule, compounded by a 503B pharmacy under federal exemption while branded supply remains in shortage. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, though semaglutide as a molecule is.
Will I lose muscle?
Some lean mass loss is normal in any caloric deficit. The protocol includes resistance-training guidance, protein targets, and quarterly body-composition tracking.
Side effects?
Nausea, constipation, fatigue during dose escalations — most resolve within a week. The Companion Kit ships with month one.
Can I cancel?
Yes. After any month. No phone call, no 30-day window. Unopened shipments are refunded.
Why $299?
Lifeforce charges $349 for metabolic optimization without prescriptions. Hone charges $250 for TRT without GLP-1. Caliber includes the medication, titration, companion kit, and quarterly bloodwork — for less than Lifeforce alone.
What states?
Florida, Texas, and Georgia today. We check eligibility against your state at the start of the assessment — if we're not live where you are yet, you can join the waitlist for your state.
How quickly will I see results?
Appetite signaling typically calibrates in the first 4–6 weeks. Bloodwork (HbA1c, fasting insulin, lipids) usually shifts by month three. Body-composition changes follow the metabolic shift, not the other way around. The protocol is built for 12–24 months of stable use.
Do you accept insurance?
No. Caliber is direct-pay — one of the reasons pricing stays transparent and consistent. HSA and FSA cards are accepted. Most members find Caliber significantly cheaper than branded GLP-1s through insurance once deductibles and prior-auth friction are factored in.
What if I'm already on a GLP-1 from another provider?
Tell us in the assessment. Your reviewing physician will pick up where your previous protocol left off — same dose, similar titration cadence — without restarting you at the bottom. Bring your most recent prescription label if you have it.
Do I have to inject myself?
Yes. Semaglutide is a subcutaneous injection — once weekly, into the abdomen or thigh, with a 27-gauge insulin needle. Most members describe it as roughly the discomfort of a thumbnail press. The Companion Kit and your physician walk you through it.
What if I have a question between physician check-ins?
Direct-message your physician from the member portal. Same-day response on weekdays, next business day on weekends. Not a chatbot — the same person who designed your protocol.
Can I pause my protocol?
Yes — pause for travel, surgery, or just a break, in one tap from the portal. Paused months aren't charged. Resume when you're ready; your physician adjusts your re-entry dose if you've been off the protocol for more than four weeks.
Is Caliber appropriate for me?
A US-licensed physician makes that call after your assessment. Caliber is typically prescribed for adults with a BMI of 27+ (with at least one related condition) or 30+ on its own. Compounded semaglutide isn't appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with a personal/family history of medullary thyroid cancer or MEN 2, or with a few other specific conditions your clinician will screen for.
Is this safe?
Semaglutide has been studied in trials totaling tens of thousands of patients, with cardiovascular outcomes (SELECT, 2023) showing a 20% reduction in major adverse events. Compounded versions are not FDA-approved — our 503B partner (Empower Pharmacy) compounds under cGMP standards with per-batch potency, sterility, pH, and endotoxicity testing.
What if it doesn't work for me?
Most members re-up at month twelve, but if you and your physician agree the protocol isn't right, exit at any time without a fee. Unopened shipments are refunded within 14 days. We don't run a retention play.
